Show Customers Your Products are “VMware Ready”
The new “VMware Ready” initiative enables customers to quickly identify VMware partner products and solutions that are optimized for VMware Infrastructure, as well as the next-generation VMware vCloud. Customers will look for the new “VMware Ready” logo when assessing which VMware partner products are the best fit for the immediate needs of their virtual infrastructure. That’s because the VMware Ready logo lets them know that your products have passed specific VMware integration and interoperability criteria and are ready to run their mission critical business applications and operations. By selecting partner products that are designated “VMware Ready,” customers will benefit from the safest, broadest choice of solutions, reduced risk, and lower integration costs.
But, more than this, “VMware Ready” tells customers that your products will fit into the long term growth of their virtualization investment—leveraging the unique capabilities of VMware virtualization and the cloud platform while working across heterogeneous environments and interconnected processes regardless of hardware, application OS and type.
Show joint customers that your products are “VMware Ready” in three different ways, depending on how your products operate with the VMware product line.
VMware Ready
Replacing the “Virtualized by VMware”, the VMware Ready logo is assigned to partner hardware and software products that have passed VMware validation testing and/or met criteria outlined by VMware. VMware provides validation tests for third-party hardware and software that operate with VMware solutions in customer environments.
VMware Ready Optimized Solution
Partner software and solutions optimized for VMware environments that have passed specific VMware qualification and interoperability requirements are eligible for the VMware Ready Optimized logo. This logo identifies partner products that provide optimized levels of integration, functionality and/or performance.
VMware Ready Certified Hardware
Partner hardware that passes a set of certification tests and is listed on the VMware hardware compatibility list (HCL) is eligible for the VMware Ready Certified logo. Platforms that can qualify for hardware certification include x86 servers (including embedded), ThinClient, Fibre channel storage arrays, iSCSI storage arrays, and NAS devices.
