What Is Possible?

Virtually anything is possible. Many of you have proven that to be true. At VMworld 2008, customer stories will be shared, celebrated and realized throughout the four days of the conference. What is your story? Share what virtualization has made possible for you.

Illustrations (similar to those shown below) and statements from users and adopters of virtualization like you will be featured throughout the conference in networking lounges, registration, hallways, general session and other conference spaces. We invite you to submit your statement and photograph so you can share your story and be a part of the overall creative experience at the event.

How to Get Involved:

1. Agree to the following terms and conditions:

I hereby authorize VMware, Inc., and its worldwide subsidiaries, affiliates and contractors ("VMware"), royalty-free, non-exclusive and worldwide use of the information provided in the VMworld 2008 Attendee Story & Photo ("Information") that belongs to me or my company, when the Information is used as part of a VMware Promotional Activity.  I acknowledge that this is a release of direct or indirect liability by me or my company for any copyright or trademark infringement claims with respect to such use.  VMware Promotional Activity (or "Activity" or "Activities") is defined as VMware actions/programs that market, promote, or provide education about the products and/or services of VMware.  Examples include, but are not limited to: internal presentations; case studies; audio/video presentations for sales or trade shows; advertising, web content; annual reports; point-of-sale displays; and demonstration programs.

I understand and agree that VMware maintains editorial control of the material created for an Activity. Examples of editorial control include: making reference to or copying the Information, in whole or in part; incorporating the Information into any form of fixed media; combining copies or partial copies of the Information with other materials owned by third parties; creating new content; and making copies as reasonably necessary for an Activity, including for display or distribution to third parties via any form of electronic or print media.

I warrant that I have the authority to execute this release on behalf of myself and, if I am employed by a company, also on behalf of my company. I acknowledge and agree that: 1) there is no obligation to use or to provide compensation for its use of the Information; 2) no ownership interest in the Information is transferred as a result of this Release; 3) and VMware owns all copyrights to any photographs or video footage it takes and to any of the derivative works created as a result of this Release. I understand that I can terminate this release upon 30 days written notice; but I shall permit the continued use of the Information subsequent to termination in Activities where financial obligations to perform were incurred prior to termination and where necessary to deplete inventory existing at time of termination.  This Release is governed by California law applicable to contracts made and performed in California. Choice of law rules do not apply, regardless of jurisdiction.
