Linux and FreeBSD Tools
VMware Tools for Linux and FreeBSD guest operating systems enhance mouse, display, and shared folders functionality for Linux and FreeBSD virtual machines. The VMware Tools in the VMware Fusion 2 DMG download only includes pre-built modules for most current Linux and FreeBSD operating systems. To install VMware Tools for older and other supported Linux and FreeBSD operating systems, do the following:
1. Download this full ISO disk image for the Linux Tools.
2. Select the menu Virtual Machine -> CD/DVD -> Choose Disk Image...
3. Browse to the ISO disk image downloaded in step 1.
4. If the disk image is not already connected, select the menu Virtual Machine -> CD/DVD -> Connect CD/DVD.

SCSI Disk Drivers
To use SCSI disks in a Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 virtual machine, you need the special SCSI driver available below. Use of this updated driver will improve SCSI virtual disk performance in Windows 2000 virtual machines. This driver is for Windows guest operating systems running on VMware Fusion.

Note: This SCSI driver does not need to be downloaded separately when you use Windows Easy Install to create your Windows virtual machines, as VMware Fusion automatically installs the SCSI driver if needed during Windows Easy Install.
