VMware Certified Virtual Appliance Program
This logo may be used by VMware and Virtual Appliance vendors. Virtual Appliance vendors are authorized to use the VMware Certified Virtual Appliance logo with appliances that successfully pass the compliance tests under the VMware Certified Virtual Appliance Program. Virtual appliances developed and submitted for testing prior to July 7, 2008 and meet the requirements of the VMware Ready program are eligible to use the VMware Ready logo, per the requirements of that program.
Any virtual appliance that was developed and submitted for testing prior to July 7, 2008 and does not meet the VMware Ready program requirements may continue to use the VMware Certified Virtual Appliance logo for 1 product revision or 6 months – whichever is shorter.
Partners who meet the criteria above should use this logo to designate their affiliation with VMware on their Web sites, advertisements, communication and other marketing materials.
As of March, 2009 this logo will no longer be available and the terms of the Certified Virtual Appliance Program will be transitioned to the VMware Ready program.
