Virtual Appliance Validation Application

Please complete one application for each virtual appliance that needs to be validated. Once the application, payment and signed agreement are received VMware will begin processing your request for validation. Upon completion of the process you will receive a report that shows the results of each test.

*Virtual disk formatted as SCSI Guest OS uses LSI Logic Driver for virtual SCSI controller

*Memory setting matches documented minimum *VMX file does not contain non-standard settings
*Virtual Appliance does not include snapshots Snapshot feature is disabled in the VMX file
*VMware Tools Installed Exemption requested for VMware Tools
     
Security and Support Statements
*Will provide a statement on download site that specifies that the virtual appliance does not contain malware, spyware, viruses or any other software that may compromise the security of a user's environment
*Will provide critical security patches within 48 hours *Will provide new virtual appliances within one week of releasing new point version of solution
Will provide MD5 Checksums for virtual appliance downloads *Will provide VMware with a designated company contact
*Will maintain at least one VMware Certified Professional (VCP) on staff *Will designate a support resource to monitor and answer support questions on your appliance's VMTN forum
*Will comply with VMware guidelines for marketing and promotion of the virtual appliance *Will join or already member of the VMware Technology Alliance Program (TAP)
