NexentaStor(tm) is a software based network attached storage (NAS) and iSCSI appliance that meets or exceeds the feature sets of the best of breed NAS and iSCSI solutions, including unlimited snapshots, snapshot mirroring (replication), NFS v3/v4, CIFS, and easy management of extremely large storage pools. NexentaStor delivers richly featured software in the form of a software appliance that is trivial to install and easy to manage. NexentaStor is available as a pre-installed VMware Image (also called NexentaStor Virtual Appliance). NexentaStor Virtual Appliance can be downloaded at http://www.nexenta.com/vmwareimage Supported VMware products include: VMware Player 2.5.x, Workstation 6.5, Server 1.0.4, ESX 3.5, ESXi 3.5, ESX 4.0. Nexenta offers variety of support options, and a number of "pluggable" modules (plugins), including VM DataCenter plugin. This particular module provides a single point of control to manage all storage related aspects of a VMware based Data Center.
