MySQL is probably the most widely used relational databases around. It's used as an integral component in many JumpBoxes and is also useful to have available in an easy to use standalone version. This JumpBox includes MySQL 5 along with PHPMyAdmin setup and ready to run. It's a great tool for developing database backed applications and can also be used along with other JumpBoxes if you need to move the database into a separate virtual machine. Includes MySQL 5 with PhpMyAdmin.

Try this JumpBox JumpBox provides very simple to use virtual appliances based around Open Source software. Any JumpBox will run on VMWare as well as Parallels Desktop and Server, Microsoft Virtual PC, Microsoft Virtual Server, Virtual Iron and Xen Open Source. With a JumpBox Open Plus subscription you can also run on Amazon EC2 and the JumpBox Backup System allows you to easily move your installation from a local install to an install anywhere else. A JumpBox requires one quick step of configuration via a web browser with no need to touch a command line. Each JumpBox also includes a simple web based management interface that includes the JumpBox Backup System. The WiKID Strong Authentication System is a dual-source, software-based two-factor authentication system designed to be less expensive and more extensible than hardware tokens. Fundamentally, WiKID Strong Authentication works this way: A user selects the WiKID domain they wish to use on their token client. The user is prompted for the PIN for that domain. It is encrypted with the WiKID Server's public key - assuring that only that server can decrypt it with its private key - and sent to the WIKID server. If the server can decrypt the PIN and it is correct and the account is active, it generates the one-time passcode (OTP) and encrypts it with the client's public key. The user then enters their username and the OTP into whatever service they are using, a VPN, website, etc., which forwards it to the WiKID Server for validation using Radius, TACACS+, LDAP or through our wAuth API for custom applications. The Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop VMware image is based on Gnome 2.24 and the final Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex. The latest VMware Tools 6.5.0-118166 have been installed and tested on Player 2.5/2.0.3 and WS 6.0.3. Additionally to the Shared Folders feature this vm is prepared for networking via SMBFS or CIFS. It has a homepage with documentation about installation, possible problems and configuration so that it can be useful in a production environment and for Windows users wanting to try Linux. If the host is online the virtual Ubuntu is ready to install software from 26000 free packages of the Ubuntu repositories.
