Are you a small to medium company or organisation looking for a way to email large files, email files securely or replace an FTP server? You don't need to look any further!

With a AllardSoft File Transfer Appliance, you can install a server in your own facilities to send big files securely to customers, clients or other staff members. It integrates with your existing Active Directory or LDAP infrastructure to further assist with the deployment.

Email is a great way to communicate, and all email systems suffer from a couple of major problems. You can't send large files — typically only 10-20 Mb is the maximum and even a decent size Powerpoint presentation can be larger than that. It's not secure, everything is sent in the clear. And finally, you never know if your recipient actually opened your email or not.

The AllardSoft File Transfer Appliance solves all of these problems.

The VMware Virtual Appliance is available both in OVF and VMDK format to suit any VMware installation.

<shortDescription>The File Transfer Appliance allows you to send up to 2 Gb files securely using a standard web browser.</shortDescription>

WiKID Strong Authentication Server 3.2.9

The WiKID Strong Authentication System is a dual-source, software-based two-factor authentication system designed to be less expensive and more extensible than hardware tokens.

The WiKID Strong Authentication System is a dual-source, software-based two-factor authentication system designed to be less expensive and more extensible than hardware tokens.

Fundamentally, WiKID Strong Authentication works this way: A user selects the WiKID domain they wish to use on their token client. The user is prompted for the PIN for that domain. It is encrypted with the WiKID Server's public key - assuring that only that server can decrypt it with its private key - and sent to the WIKID server. If the server can decrypt the PIN and it is correct and the account is active, it generates the one-time passcode (OTP) and encrypts it with the client's public key. The user then enters their username and the OTP into whatever service they are using, a VPN, website, etc., which forwards it to the WiKID Server for validation using Radius, TACACS+, LDAP or through our wAuth API for custom applications.

For more information, please visit http://www.wikidsystems.com

Network Storage Server (NSS) Virtual Appliance for VMware Infrastructure

FalconStor® Network Storage Server (NSS) Virtual Appliance for VMware Infrastructure is a pre-configured, production-ready virtual machine that provides a cost-effective, feature-rich virtual SAN solution for small and medium businesses and remote/branch offices.

FalconStor® Network Storage Server (NSS) Virtual Appliance for VMware Infrastructure is a pre-configured, production-ready virtual machine that provides a cost-effective, feature-rich virtual SAN solution for small and medium businesses and remote/branch offices.

The FalconStor NSS Virtual Appliance creates a virtual SAN on a VMware ESX server by turning internal disk resources into a shareable pool of storage. This is accomplished without the need for external storage arrays, SAN switches, or costly host bus adapters (HBA). Internal data drives are detected by the software and incorporated into the FalconStor NSS management through a simple GUI. At that point, storage can be provisioned and securely allocated via the iSCSI protocol which operates over standard Ethernet cabling.

If the FalconStor NSS Virtual Appliance is deployed on a single VMware ESX server, that server can share storage resources with other servers in the environment. By consolidating all the elements of a shared storage environment into a single server, the FalconStor NSS Virtual Appliance provides a cost-effective solution for delivering highly available shared storage to a VMware ESX Server environment. Thin Provisioning technology and space-efficient snapshots further decrease costs by minimizing consumption of physical storage resources.

To enable high availability (HA), the FalconStor NSS Virtual Appliance can be deployed on two VMware ESX servers that can share storage with each other as well as additional VMware ESX servers. In this model, each NSS Virtual Appliance maintains mirrored data from the other server. If one of the servers is lost, all virtual machines that were running on the failed server can restart using the storage resources of the remaining server. Downtime is kept to a minimum as applications are quickly brought back online.

m0n0wall is a project aimed at creating a complete, embedded firewall software package that, when used together with an embedded PC, provides all the important features of commercial firewall boxes (including ease of use) at a fraction of the price (free software).
m0n0wall is based on a bare-bones version of FreeBSD, along with a web server, PHP and a few other utilities. The entire system configuration is stored in one single XML text file to keep things transparent.
m0n0wall is probably the first UNIX system that has its boot-time configuration done with PHP, rather than the usual shell scripts, and that has the entire system configuration stored in XML format.

This appliance was built from scratch using debootstrap and adding a virtual kernel. Doing it this way leaves you with only the bare essentials which is a perfect base to build a virtual appliance on but with all the ubuntu software ready to be installed!

It has VMware tools installed by adding build-essential and linux-headers and compiling the needed modules. Then the disk was cleaned using apt-get autoremove and stripping the vmware tools directory from the unneeded binaries and 64-bit files (leaving 30MB instead of 150MB).

m0n0wall is a project aimed at creating a complete, embedded firewall software package that, when used together with an embedded PC, provides all the important features of commercial firewall boxes (including ease of use) at a fraction of the price (free software).

m0n0wall is based on a bare-bones version of FreeBSD, along with a web server, PHP and a few other utilities. The entire system configuration is stored in one single XML text file to keep things transparent.

m0n0wall is probably the first UNIX system that has its boot-time configuration done with PHP, rather than the usual shell scripts, and that has the entire system configuration stored in XML format.

This specific VMware appliance version and is preconfigured to run on a server with two NICs, offering complete firewall protection to the inner lan. Additionally, it offers a DMZ zone for virtual web- or other servers. Optionally, this DMZ zone can be connected to a physical NIC to allow physical DMZ connections too.

Since there's been an update of the original monowall, mono-vm has been updated too.

License

m0n0wall is Copyright © 2002-2006 by Manuel Kasper (mk@neon1.net).
All rights reserved.

Redistribution and use in source and binary forms, with or without modification, are permitted provided that the following conditions are met:

1.
